workshop for individuals
our working methods
At the beginning of the workshop we will have a discussion about your expectations and your specific objectives. We will tailor the content to your needs and can focus the workshop on a specific brand or area of interest.
The workshop will be divided into two parts. In the theoretical part, we will introduce you to the basic concepts and principles, linking theory to practice through visits to various stores and chains. We will use concrete examples to show how the different approaches differ and discuss their advantages and disadvantages.
The second part will focus on independent work and feedback. Finally, you will be given an individual assignment to deepen your knowledge. Once you have completed it, we will give you detailed feedback and allow time for additional questions.
What you can expect
The course will take you through the theory of Visual Merchandising, with an emphasis on practical demonstrations in real store environments. The introduction will focus on Visual Merchandising, explaining what it is, its key principles and what you can expect from the position of a Visual Merchandiser.
We will then look at the basic principles of display. We will explain how to divide up the sales area, what presentation tools are available and how to use them correctly. We’ll also look at product rotation, product longevity on the sales floor, mannequin styling and other practical tips and tricks.
